Nancy Campbelln Richardson - Recent TITLE=

Nancy Campbell Richardson, formerly of Richland, passed away peacefully at Avalon Health
Center in Pasco on November 25, 2006 at the age of 78.

Nancy was born on June 8, 1928 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Kenneth Sr. and Marjorie Hayes
Campbell. Nancy's father was a mechanical engineer having graduated from Penn State. They
moved a few times with employment before settling in July, 1944 in Richland, WA. Nancy
graduated from Columbia High School in Richland in 1947 and attended business school for a
short time.

She married Gordon A. Richardson of Kennewick in 1970 and they had a short but happy time, as
he passed away in 1973.

Nancy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions
of service there. Though she lived in the same house for most of her years in Richland, she
was blessed by having the church boundaries change several times, which always brought her a
new circle of friends. She enjoyed serving in the Seattle Temple often and also worked in the
Bishop's Storehouse. Her car license plates read "L D S".

She enjoyed working on genealogy, often working through the night when she couldn't quite get
all the right dates and places. She was always ready and willing to help out at any church
activity and she went out of her way to help other people. She was a faithful visiting teacher
and so appreciated the opportunity to be of service to other sisters. She enjoyed singing in
each of the ward choirs and had sung in church since 1953. She also enjoyed bowling and bingo.

She participated in several Walk-a-thons for the March of Dimes, helped with the Heart Fund
drives and Cancer Fund Drive. She volunteered with the United Blind of the Tri-Cities, helped
at the Rotary Club, The Blood Bank and worked with immigrants to help them learn English.

Nancy is survived by one brother, Kenneth Campbell, Jr. and wife Audrey of Erie, PA; and three
nieces.

We would like to thank Nancy's caregivers for the last 12 years; especially, Keiko Perkins of
Kennewick, Wayne and Yolanda Hansen of Richland and Beverly/Avalon Health Center of Pasco for
their kind care of her thru her failing health. She had had several small episodes that had
weakened her muscles and eventually affected her speech and swallowing along with dementia. We
appreciate the kind and loving care they gave her.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 1:00pm in the Jadwin Chapel of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Viewing will be from 12:00-12:45pm in the Relief
Society room of the Jadwin Church.

As Nancy would always say: "I hope you have a nice day".
