Janice Carol Harris Tillman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and special friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 13, 2008.

Janice was born May 30th 1960, in Pasco to Emmit Harris, Sr. and Clotis White Harris. Janice was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities. She attended Richland public schools, graduating from Richland High School in 1978. Janice then attended Columbia Basin College, earning an Associated Arts and Sciences degree. Janice continued her education at Eastern Washington University, earning a degree in Business Administration. Janice was pursuing her master's degree in Business Administration.

Janice has been employed at Energy Northwest for nearly 25 years. She currently is the manager of Administrative Services.

Janice met her life partner and soul mate Andrew Tillman in 1983. They were married May 26, 1984, celebrating 24 years together. She was a faithful member of St. James CME church of Pasco.

Janice was known for her strong faith, generosity, loyalty and giving spirit as well as her wonderful sense of humor. Her family was her foremost priority and her love was felt by all who knew her, near and far.

Janice was currently president of the Stewardess Board at St. James CME church. She was an active member of ACCESS. She was the secretary of Ivy Glades Homeowners Association and on the Pasco Facilities Task Force. She was dedicated to community service.

She is survived by her husband Andrew, Pasco; son Ameer Tillman, Pasco; and daughters Moniesa Scott, Pasco; Na'Imah Tillman, Seattle; Janisha Charlot, Stockton, CA; Sisters, Patricia Kennedy (Charles) of Tacoma; Elaine Bean (Marvin) Vancouver, WA; Deborah Walden (Lee) Vancouver, WA; Teresa Pyle, Kennewick; Darlene White Harris (Robert) of Aurora, IL; and Tony Dahl (Johan) Austin, TX; Granddaughters, LeAna, Stacia, Jasmin and Karma of Pasco; Lauren, Jaylin, and Jordan of Stockton, CA. Janice leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, December 19th, from 3pm - 8pm at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, at 1pm at Faith Assembly Christian Center. 1800 N Road 72, Pasco. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Richland, WA.
