February 12, 1932 - May 20, 2009

Ron Bewlay - 1950

Ron Bewlay, 77, peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus, May 20, in Kennewick. He was born in Seattle and lived in the Tri-Cities for 70 years.

Ron was a retired electrician, who worked on many dams, casinos, the Alaska Pipeline, and the Hanford Project. Two years ago he received his 55 year IBEW pin. Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating with his family. Classic cars were dad's hobby... especially muscle cars.

As a young boy Ron moved to Richland in the '30s with his parents and younger brother, Bud ('51-RIP). He graduated from Columbia High School in 1950. Ron married Ruth Ann "Terry" Johnson in 1954. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-laws, Kelly and Mark Peterson, and Jill and Tony Ledford, 4 grandchildren, and sister-in-law Mickie Bewlay. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice. Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.
