Passed away suddenly Friday, November 26, 2010 at his home in Irvine, CA. Before their move to Irvine, Jack and his Wife Bea were 30 year residents of Burbank and 10 years in Santa Maria, CA.

Jack was born March 1, 1931 in Illinois, New York, moved with his family to Richland in 1942.

He attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA, majoring in Sociology. Upon completion of his education and his service in the ROTC, he served 2 years in the Army as an Artillery Instructor with the rank of 1st Lieutenant.

In 1958 he moved to Burbank with AC Nielsen Co. He met the love of his life, Bea Naimo in 1959. Jack and Bea Married in 1960 and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past June.

Jack was very active at St. Francis Xavier Church and School, St. Robert Bellarmine Church and School, and Bellermine-Jefferson High School.

Jack retired from Cal-Air Conditioning Company in 1993 after a 30-year career as Sales Manager.

He was a quiet, gentle man who loved God and his Catholic faith, his family, and his country. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Paul Anthony, and his parents, Kathryn and Edward Lockwood.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bea of Irvine; three sons, John (Carol) of Tacoma, WA, Steven (Letty) of Tustin, CA, David (Cara) of Lake Forest, CA; daughter, Mary DeSantis (Tony) of Burbank; ten grandchildren - The youngest just 6 weeks old; brother, Richard ('51) (Paula) of Richland; sister: Carol Jeffery of Plano, TX; many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Rosary and viewing will be held Friday, December 3rd, 4:30pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Burbank, CA. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday December 4th, 1:00pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will be at San Fernando Mission Cemetery immediately following Mass.
