Leroy Surplus - 1961

Leroy passed away at his home in Richland on November 14, 2011. He was born July 11, 1943, in Twin Falls, ID and moved to Richland in 1947. He worked as the foreman at Metalfab in West Richland for many years.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Surplus; wife Laurel Neptune Surplus ('64); children: J. Cory (wife Kim), and Terra Watkins (husband Terry); sister, Margaret Surplus Bumgarner ('69) (husband Ken); nephews, Bruce and Scott Surplus; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by his father, Tom Surplus, and brother, Harold Surplus ('64).

As a child, Leroy loved to play baseball until he discovered horses. To the end of his life, he loved to team-rope and just be with his horse.

At his request, there will be no service.

Friends and family were invited to remember his life on Friday, November 18 at his home.
