Yvonne passed away from complications of congestive heart failure on October 16, 2012, at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was 74 years old.

Ms. Mills was born Yvonne Kay Tisdale on March 29, 1938, in Longview, WA, to Evert Griner Tisdale and Ethel Goldie Keene Tisdale. Her father was a steam-fitter and traveled for work so Yvonne lived in California and Washington in her childhood. By her teen years she was living in Richland graduating from Columbia HS in 1955.

She met and married Bob Williams in 1956, had 4 children and bought a home in Garden Grove, CA. By the late 1960s, she was divorced, and had married Lawrence Mills III, having a son in 1975. She divorced Mr. Mills in 1991.

Yvonne worked for Pilkington Aerospace in Garden Grove as a canopy fabricator for 34 years, before moving to Arizona when she retired. She lived in Glendale before finally settling in Lake Havasu City in 2003. She was active in several organizations including the Eagles, the Desert Singles Social Club and Havasu's River City Singles. She loved to read, go to the movies and sew. She loved getting together with friends for pot luck dinners and game nights including Mexican Train Dominoes, and Bunco.

She loved her family and especially loved spending time with her children. Her favorite activity was going out on the lake in her son's boat.

She is survived by her sister, Constance Gallant, her children: Deborah Hansen (Rick), Gregory Williams, Randy Williams (Diana), and Lawrence Mills, Jr.; grandchildren: Bryan (Lilly), Chris, Caitlin, Renee, Rachel, Dionne (Jake), Kristen (Leon), Brad, and Berlin; great grandchildren: Gigi, Chase, Parker, and Bennett; 3 grand-dogs: Shelby, Penny and Mac; many nephews & nieces including Terry Tisdale, and Sha.

Yvonne was pre-deceased by her parents; her brother Evert Tisdale; and her son Russell Williams.

A "Celebration of Life" service was held on November 10 at Lietz-Fraze Mortuary, Lake Havasu City, AZ. The family welcomes anyone to speak or share a special remembrance.
