Kaye Wheeler Curran ~ recent

Kaye, 76, of Easton, CT passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at CT Hospice in Branford. Born in Kellogg, ID to the late David and Mertie Lelia Wheeler, Kaye grew up in Idaho and Washington and attended the University of Washington where she received her B.S. in Education and her Masters in Business.

Prior to her retirement in 2006, she was the Chief Financial Officer at Norske Skog in Southport.

Kaye was a world traveler and a true outdoorsman who loved to camp. She was a naturalist and health conscious individual. Kaye had an interesting life living in Mexico and over thirty-eight different places in the United States and worked for the Janss family who were the owners of the Sun Valley Company.

She loved art and visiting art museums, reading, cooking, bird watching and growing roses. Kaye was an avid college basketball fan.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Leslie Kelly and her husband, Robert as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jack, Liam, Ryan and Georgia.

Mass of Christian Burial was held, May 29, 2014, at Notre Dame Church in Easton. Interment is private.
