Pat passed away peacefully at her home in Pasco on July 4, 2015, with her family at her side. She was born on June 17, 1927, in Batavia, Illinois.

She spent most of her youth in Aurora, IL. She moved to Richland in 1943 when her father was offered a job on the Manhattan Project at Hanford. She graduated from Richland High School in 1945 and then worked as a secretary for DuPont at Hanford. She married John P. Kohler on July 10, 1948, and continued to work at DuPont until 1960. She then focused her time on raising her family and helping manage the family farm in Pasco. She bore five children (Michael in 1949, David in 1957, Jimmy in 1960, Joe in 1963 and her daughter Mary in 1965).

She was preceded in death by her husband John, son Jimmy, granddaughter Tiffany, brothers Edward Larrabee, Frank Larrabee and Charles ('47) Larrabee, and her sisters Edith DeMeyer and Marge Nelson.

She is survived by her remaining children, and their spouses (Michael & Robin Kohler, David & Debbie Kohler, Joe & Gayle Kohler and Mary & John Hadley.) She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Parish in Richland, Catholic Daughters of America, the women's auxiliary at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital and provided volunteer social service support for children with Catholic Family Services. She had a passion for volunteering and supported many charitable organizations.

Pat aged like a fine wine becoming more vibrant and joyful in her retirement. She traveled often to Hawaii and Mexico and also visited Hong Kong and China. She most recently traveled to Thailand and Vietnam in 2014. She scheduled a vacation in Europe prior to her stroke. She was a great wife, mother and friend and will be truly missed.

Visitation and Rosary were July 10, 2015, at Einan's at Sunset.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Gardens.
