Good for you to stop him cold! To: Helen CROSS Kirk ('62) We had the same poor luck trying to see the Changing of the Guard as you did. I was amazed at the thousands of people there to watch. The weather was perfect and afterward we walked along the path and stream. Lots of birds (the names of which I have forgotten) and one cute little heron. To: Ed WOOD ('62) Thank you for posting your photo of your viewing of the Changing of the Guard. Great photo! Weather in Richland today, Friday. Last day of July: After sitting in the sun, the car thermometer read 121° when I went out after day time Pinochle. In the shade at my house, it went down to 106°. I suppose our Arizona compatriots would think that's wonderfully cool. I hope to go to Alaska next week! We've arrived at the 1th of August. There is a younger Bomber Babe of my acquaintance who celebrates her 18th birthday today. Not only that, the Alumni Sandstorm was "hatched" on this date something like 17 years ago; who figured. Therefore, a tip of the ol' propeller beanie and a "Happy Birthday!" for Ann ENGEL ('63) and a "Happy Anniversary!" to the Alumni Sandstorm. The dove are thick this year, so are the snakes. After a very wet May and June, July finally got hot and the land has cracked wide open. Two (count 'em 2) entries from the Junior Gyrene in one issue. (all right, so it was an editorial goof) But, what were the odds? Sorta beside the point, as we are celebrating the birthday of a Bomber Babe whom I knew. How, you may ask; well, I'll tell ya, we went to the same school and at the same time. In fact we even graduated on the same day and in the same gym. Hard to beat those odds. I have it, from a semi-reliable source that today might even be her 21st, which would make her eligible to have an adult beverage the next time she visits the Tahitian Room. And, now, to tip the ol' propeller beanie and say "Happy Birthday!" to Sandra STURGIS ('54). Hope you have a good party today. On another note, this coming Friday marks the opening day of the Homer Davenport Community Festival in Silverton, OR (just minutes south of Mount Angel). Why do I mention this? Well my Italian son, Richard, is president of the group that organizes the event. They also handle the Strawberry Festival each Father's Day. If you happen to be in the neighbour hood, stop in at the main site (Coolidge/McLain Park) or take in the Davenport Race on Saturday. Most folks don't know that the Coast Guard is the second-oldest service, barely behind the US Marines. The continental Army and Navy were disbanded after the Revolution, then re-established later. The Coast Guard was established in 1790 - brain child of Alexander Hamilton so our fledgling country could enforce the customs tax laws started around 1788. Then called the Revenue Cutter Service, officers of the Coast Guard were in the dual role of customs officers and also Naval officers of our nation. USCG was involved in every armed conflict since - War of 1812, Spanish American War and onward. Named U.S. Coast Guard in 1939, I believe, and codified in law as one of the nation's Armed Forces - even though it actually had been all along. I was proud to serve in that fine outfit from 1952 thru 1986, held 13 different pay grades (E-1 thru E-7 and O-1 thru O-6), commanded two ships and served on a total of 7 ships, one of them twice. Semper Paratus! -Dick WIGHT ('52) *************************************************************** *************************************************************** >>From: Janet FORBY Padgett ('60) To: George BRINKMAN ('60) Re: 60 Class Reunion - 55 Years How to register Hi George, I am also sending this message to the Sandstorm in the hope of letting our class members who are not Club 40 members know what is happening and how to register. The Class of 1960 is joining Club 40 for our reunion activities on Friday, 9/11 and Saturday, 9/12 nights at the Red Lion Hotel. Saturday afternoon 9/12 we have a special get-together from 12noon until 3pm at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive (this is in Howard Amon Park, aka Riverside Park). We will be in the Riverview Room for a social gathering to "Eat Dessert First" enjoying decadent desserts, finger foods and beverages, and a short program. Fred PHILLIPS ('60) has agreed to be our Master of Ceremonies. He is a lot of fun! The Class of 1960 photo is scheduled at 2pm on the north side of the patio area. The cost of the photo includes mailing. Small group photos will also be taken and payment arranged with the photographer. A souvenir pamphlet with a schedule of events and other information regarding classmates will be distributed. The costs for our Saturday afternoon get-together is $15 per person for the Social, $10 for the photo and $5 for the Class of 1960 Pamphlet (add $2 if mailing is desired). We will accept pay-at-the door for Saturday afternoon activities. Friday evening we will join Club 40 members for a Taco Bar Buffet starting at 6pm. Bobbie PEARSON Wiley ('60) will set up her music machine and play our "old" favorite tunes from her collection. We expect it to be a great opportunity to say hello and reconnect with classmates from other classes as well as the Class of 1960. The cost is $35 per person. Saturday evening at 7pm we will join Club 40 members for dinner, and program, followed by live music to listen and dance too, if we can. We have special tables designated for the Class of 1960. There will be fun, interesting and sentimental items raffled off to raise money for the Conley-Richey-Overdahl Scholarship fund. Dinner entrée is pre-selected and served at the table. Choices for the entrée are Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Char Grilled King Salmon, Prime Carving Roast or a Vegetarian Dinner. You can also select gluten free items. The cost is $40 per person. But I got distracted... more about that further down. "Any fireworks display fired on, over, or affecting, "any Navigable Waterways" must have a USCG "Marine Event Permit". So we mail out a thick envelope of applications each year in late January. There is a 138 day notification period. Many of these permits require an inspection by the USCG. After a few minor squabbles over various permits scattered over a 5 state area, I offered to do a class for inspectors. Best thing that could have happened. We developed a solid working relationship and with one exception all problems vanished. On one barge display a crusty old "Chief Boats" laid it on Ken and I about how perfect our set up needed to be. He got right in our faces and said I will be watching you all day pointing out the nearby USCG station across the water. "Anything ain't perfect on this barge you ain't shooting". "Got that? You understand me?" "Yes Sir". Normal fireworks barges are a mess with spilled sand and wires running everywhere. It is organized confusion at best. But when all was done and checked out and ready to fire we sent the crew ashore. Then Ken and I carefully bundled and secured all 500 plus wires running up and down the rows of sandboxes containing the mortars.. Then we smoothed all the sand around the mortars in the boxes and then dragged leaf rakes all around the surface of the barge, turning it into a "Zen" garden. Absolutely nothing was out of place. We then called for inspection. The Chief came over with 2 helpers. The tide was out so you could look down on the barge and see it all. Starting down the ladder the Chief looked down and his jaw dropped. You could tell he did not want to put a foot track in that sand. He came back up on the dock and said "uuuhh, it looks OK" and signed off on the permit and walked away. I would have paid big $ for a picture of the smirks on his enlisted sailor assistants behind his back. This last J4 [4th of July] I was at Dutch Harbor, AK for my 22nd trip out there to do that very large display. The City of Unalaska supplies my crew. But I had only one crew member as the rest were on vacation. Because of the ever-changing and often bad weather we set the display up on semi trailers inside the high bay building. While I stood there rethinking how to get it done, in walks a group of Coast Guard personnel volunteering to be crew. I need to digress here: The 24 ship drilling fleet for Shell had just arrived at Dutch Harbor and the Coast Guard in Seattle District had sent 2 fast patrol boats and assorted personnel to be prepared to fend off a protester fleet of small boats. But... some 800 miles SW of Anchorage is pretty remote and no protesters showed up. I had a variety of talent in that group. 2 Law Enforcement Specialists, a Specialist in Maritime Law, 2 Gunners and a couple of mechanics who maintain the boat and engines. Not sure what the other 3-4 did. But the big thing here is that those "Coasties" pitched in and we got it done in 2 days. We fed them pizza for lunch the first day and roast beef sandwiches on the second day. I sent the Seattle Commanding Officer a letter of thanks for their help. They were a great bunch and were glad to have something to do. Now, as to the "distraction"..... I have a cat in my house. It came in last weekend as I was sorting out stuff and carrying it to the "house stuff" storage in the shop building on the back of my property. I left the sliding door wide open as I often do for short periods. We are trying to get things organized but with Jackie in Alaska part of the time and my working every day and my knee not being as good as expected, things are stacked up a bit in parts of the house. During the day when I am not there and in the middle of the night it has badly torn up parts of the carpet in several places. I see signs of it having been on the tables and counters. It is good at hiding as 3 of us looked for 2 hours and could not find it. I have left the door open several times so it could leave, but nada. I have seen it twice racing from one place to another when I surprised it getting up at 4am and coming home mid-day. It is grey and appears to be a feral cat as it is pretty beat up. Last night I set a live trap baited with tuna fish. No results this AM but I have hopes for this afternoon when I get home. I like cats and as I am typing this Charlotte (one of our pair of "tuxedo" cats) has her head on the edge of my laptop and is fast asleep. She and her sister Ashley were going on to 19 years old. But Ashley passed away a couple of months ago. She is upside down in the "twisted" position only a cat can achieve, purring softly. -J. She is the slightly more mature sister of a guy ('65) I was totally mesmerized by growing up... that probably sounds funny but I'm not sure how else to put it. He was (and is) just a guy you wanna be around and emulate... so much so that Terry DAVIS ('65) and I actually dyed our hair to give us that look I've come to enjoy her more and more over the years as just one of those Bomber-babes who is great to be around just to be in her presence... Every time I drive near my house on Van Giesen and get to the spot of the house across from Carol WISE's ('64) just west of mine I can't help but recall my Dad carrying this babe into our house... when I heard her initial scream I was knocked over... then seeing my Dad take charge as he always did was something... that accident (back in probably around '62) was something I'll not forget and her recovery is something I'll never stop being grateful for... I'm hoping her latest back problems have been resolved as well... she is just special so there! I am sure you all recall a video that went "viral" (I really hate those tag words) a few years ago. It is simply called Richland, Washington after the song written and sung by James Talley and was produced by a member of the class of 1972 for their 40 year Reunion. I would like to thank and give credit to Peter BRANDT ('72) for producing this fine piece of Art work... when we first "discovered" it we, who are not as bright as others sought to determine the producer of this video... I immediately spotted my Mom as the lady standing to the right of the Carnation Milk trucks (I think third from the right)... Terry DAVIS ('65) spotted Jack KEENEY ('65) at the swimming pool and some have even located their houses. We are so very impressed that the class of '65 wishes to show the video at our 50 year Reunion. The weather is absolutely perfect (65 to 80 for high temps), a soft breeze and plenty of sunshine! I've had time with my daughter and her husband, 2 of my granddaughters and 4 of my great-grands. Yesterday I visited and enjoyed a wonderful once-a-month Luncheon with friends from the 1980s. I have not yet seen the "resident" moose and calves here, but life doesn't get much better than this! I didn't know until last Sunday that I would be able to come up and there were some very negative reactions on the short notice but things are smoothed over now. I had emailed everyone of my plans, as soon as they were confirmed, that I would be arriving on Tuesday. Yes, it was short notice... but not anything I could have prevented. I tried for Wednesday but there were no seats available. I certainly didn't want to put it off for another week after having lost a month already. I like to come up for 2 months each year (July and August) but couldn't find a 2nd person to help with my live-in former sister-in-law. In the rush, I forgot to bring the keys to my car. (Matter of fact, I didn't even remember that I had taken them with me last year!) They are in the mail and should arrive tomorrow (today, as you read this) but it isn't guaranteed. A friend who saw my "stranded" plight on Facebook, picked me up here in the Butte to go the Luncheon in Wasilla. I felt so lucky to have been here for it. Wonderful friends and great food! There was a family of the Sikh religion...very interesting. Now I know why they wear the turbans. I guess we all have ideas that seem strange to others. I plan to be back in Richland next month in time for Club 40 and the trip to Lincoln City with the Rambling Rovers Senior travel group that I enjoy so much. After 6 months I thought I was completely healed/recovered, thought so again at 7 months, and that continued for two years - I had no idea how much overall physical capability I had lost in the process of the hip deteriorating, stopping jogging, etc. The therapists kept telling me to back off, I was trying to recover everything overnight, which of course was not smart, so I started paying attention to them and improved steadily but slowly. The second hip was done in 2010, and I did the therapies I remembered from the first one for three months prior; I recovered a lot faster that time, but full healing and recovery still took over a year. I became the de facto hip replacement counselor at work, and several colleagues benefitted from what I had learned about not letting myself go so completely. In the ten years between 2004 and 2014 I slowly dropped 28 pounds and now am close to my weight in my 20s and 30s, though obviously nowhere near that level of overall strength and conditioning (shouldn't expect it at 70, I guess). However, I still do a lot of walking, property maintenance (garden plowing, chainsaw work, etc.) and some bicycle riding. Hip surgery has evolved to nearly a routine event now, and hospital stays have shortened significantly. Sounds like you're having a fairly successful process, just hang in there and keep listening to the therapists, they really do know what they're doing. God be with you for the next one. First... a Federal Judge appears disinclined to allow any further delays in the clean-up of the tanks. Basically the judge said to DOE you have had plenty of time and many delays. The problem is serious, stick to the schedule. Cheers for the Judge! I cannot help but wonder if anybody but those who live downriver from Hanford fully realize the huge consequences of tank leakage reaching the Columbia. Not to mention fish and shellfish in the Pacific Ocean. Having some small understanding of the amounts and types of contamination in those tanks, I cannot help but wonder What will they do with them after they pump them out? I suspect it may be beyond my lifetime. As an aside..... those of you who follow Alaska may be aware of the proposed copper mine that they want to build a large leach pit using a cocktail of deadly chemicals to extract the copper. Alaskans are pointing out if anything happened to that pit it would forever contaminate the richest fishing and crabbing bay in the world, forever. "Oh that would never happen as a special dam would hold back the chemicals". HOWEVER... if you follow the news you have seen the results of an old closed mine from back in the '30s where the EPA itself accidently caused a breach in that dam and hundreds of tons of deadly chemicals are now in the river system that flows through several states and could end up in Lake Mead. I have traveled extensively in Alaska both coastal and interior, including 22 trips to Dutch Harbor over a 16 year period and it is easy to see the harvest from the seas, lakes and rivers, as well as the land, are more then vital to Alaska. It is life itself. I hope the people of Alaska stand their ground. As to the second article in the TNT Re: Hanford The National Park Service is seeking comments on the new Manhattan Project National Park. During the holiday season in December, Viola Parker and my mother Dorothy, Viola's sister (see how this all ties together?) would also work the store. Viola throughout the year was the one who shopped for and brought in the gift-ware. My cousin Al PARKER ('53) also helped in the store. I'm afraid my sole contribution was to run advertising flyers door to door (before the use of mailers) when I was a youngster. The good thing about this great relationship was that on occasion I was able to take advantage of some good specials - including my first new Huffy bicycle. Willard Parker was a business leader in the community and also a good friend of Grover Dawson (Dawson- Richards) and (name?) Davis of Davis Furniture. As always, the critical question becomes how much should be spent to "properly maintain the system". I'm sure the people who lived in Johnstown during that natural, but man-enhanced disaster (like those who lived thru Katrina and it's aftermath) know enough monitoring of the natural system wasn't done, and those living there suffered the results. Rodney and Viola first lived in a prefab on Thayer St. and then moved to 1103 Perkins Ave., which is still in fine condition. Rodney and Viola were active in community events. Rodney began the Richland Kiwanis and was the first president. Viola coordinated several fashion shows, most of which were held at the Desert Inn. Unfortunately, my grandfather died suddenly in August 1954 while he and Viola were visiting California. Although Viola and Wyman attempted to keep the Style Center operational, it was mysteriously gutted by fire. Viola left Richland in June 1958 and moved to California. I would be thrilled to hear from anyone who has memories of my grandparents or The Style Center. Of particular interest to me is the date and cause of the fire. I would appreciate your publishing my contact information and the attached photo of The Style Center. http://AlumniSandstorm.com/Xtra/15/0811-The_Style_Ct.jpg Kindest regards, -Melinda Mantor (NAB) ******************************************* ******************************************* That's it for today. My mentors when I learned to set pins were Johnny KING ('56) and George BOWLS ('55). They showed me how to pick up 2 pins in one hand by crossing the necks and to always put the pins in the rack before returning the ball to the bowler if they didn't get a strike. If you sent the ball back to the bowler they would get the ball and try to pick up the spare before you were out of the pit. After 11 days 3 of us spent 6 hours searching the house without finding him. But at about dawn I heard him bashing about and opened the back door and shot him twice in the butt with a BB gun and that got him to leave. Had that not worked I would have used a lead pellet and 15 pumps in the rifle and put him down. Enough, is enough, is enough. Definitely a feral cat, torn ears, slashed face, missing patches of fur and bent tail. Fast and mean. Deadline is August 28th!!! If it is postmarked that day, it will be accepted!! Some are still confused as to how to get a registration form. Go to RichlandBombers.com Scroll down to Club 40 (towards the top of the page) and click on it. At the top of page is "Reunion info", click on that. Then click on "2015 Registration Form". You will be able to print this form and fill it out and the address where to mail it is on the bottom of page. Be sure to total all monies filled in. Please be sure to include you annual dues of $10 per Bomber!! If your dues were current, you would have received a registration form in the Dust Storm which was mailed first week of June. If you wonder if your dues are current, look on your address label and the year will be in the upper right hand corner. It is always a good idea to include the dues when you reserve your spot for our September celebration each year. Ran into him much later at one of the Tacoma luncheons. Didn't appear to have changed much. I also learned through these pages that he flew aeroplanes both for the Air Force and also privately. He also played the clarinet in the band and orchestra. On that note, a tip of the ol' propeller beanie and a hearty "Happy Birthday!" is in order for Jerry SWAIN ('54). I guess mine is the only one I know for sure, but I can echo "Best one yet"... I rolled into town around 7 PM Thursday nite and was so hungry I could pay 50 cents for a steak... Cecilia BENNETT ('65) picked me up and we ran over to the new Steak house by the Marriott... found CROWsky ('65) and the Misus there and had a most fabulous dinner (Thanks Gary) with more catch up than I've had inna while... MOUTON ('65) walked by and we grabbed her then visited with Diane MURPHY ('65) and Rob TURPING ('65)... MOUTON made her feelings about the term "Bomber-babe" clear and I was instructed I was never to mention her ass again... so Connie DAME ('65) will take over as the sole record holder of the Jr Hi cheerleader's butt... not that the rest of the babes don't look wonderful but we must admit, to have the exact same rear end one had in 7th grade is pretty amazing... most others kids were spread across town at that time of night so just hit the hay till morning... Spuddies took center stage for many of us Friday morning and I managed to hang around the shop till almost 11... talking to alla kids congregated there in various waves... Then a short trip to see Freddie GEORGE ('65) at his mom's old house, where he made me promise not to give out any info on him (there is no limit to weird as we get older)... Then out to see Terry DAVIS' ('65) new digs and a tour of West Richland... Friday evening was sandwiches made with Airport bread and something that resembled Tacos and beans... not complaining, it was about the same fare as we had at the Gold Medal's 50th... Dean HOFF ('62) and Jimbeaux ('63) invited me to share tacos... I passed... the mingling with some kids we hadn't seen in 50 years was fantastic... Steven HOSACK ('65) of absentee letters signed "My father" and tongue to the baseball fence in the winter (my mom about died when he opened his mouth) fame came in from Gilroy for the first visit since I don't know... with no smell of garlic that I could sense... the only way to describe the nite was the way I described our 25th... it was as tho we had returned to grade school days with all the joy and innocence of those wonderful years... by early morning Friday, Jackson KEENEY ('65) had lost his car keys, room key, driver's license and glasses... a trip to DMV was had before Spuddies... it would continue for the remainder of the weekend... Late Friday nite, Debbie LYONS ('65), Nancy WICK ('65), Jimbeaux ('63), Cecilia and I hit Jack in the box for tacos... Saturday was another day of Spuddies and then more festivities... just before it was time for school pix, Pierre REMILLARD ('65) who had driven a "new" car rather than the Model A for reliability called to say he and CMOORE ('65) were broken down on the south side... we ran over and brought CMOORE back, and dropped Jack off to go pick up Pierre... Cecilia and I headed for Col-Hi for pix... as we got to the school Jack called to say he had locked his keys in my room! I talked to the front desk, he retrieved the keys and made it for the pix... pix were fun; by grade, Jr Hi and Hi school... since there were no Garfield kids there we were all onna same page for that one... we spent 3.5 hours writing our names in the right slots for each school and then on to the DI for a great evening... One of the highlights was the presentation of a Quilt of Valor to Jimmy HEIDLEBAUGH ('65)... he was shocked... WORD the wise on Programs... CONTACT Jim HAMELTON ('63) when planning the program... .Jimbeaux has the 22 minute formula... nuff said... Dancing and mingling were magic... I watched Doug BENOLIEL ('65) execute all my best slow dance moves and Lamont WARDEN ('65) go thru my fast dance routines with great envy... Mr. Kandi GRUBB (NAB) offered to allow me the honor, but pain is the great deterrent no matter how much you wanna... I know I've missed a million memories and a million kids... He is well and enjoying life in his retirement home, Stoneridge Creek Retirement Creek Retirement Community in Pleasanton, CA. He recently enjoyed a veteran's trip to Washington DC to see the WWII memorial. Mr. Pappas not only led a first-rate musical program, he was an excellent record keeper. He has an extensive notebook of clippings, photos and programs from his years at Richland, 1948-1960. When I looked through this memory book I was reminded of several highlights from my years there. In 1953 we staged the musical, "Good News." It is set in the Roaring Twenties at mythical Tait College. Mr. Pappas went way out on a limb to make some special arrangements for this. He rented a gold curtain from a theater supply company in New York City to put some life in our auditorium. He purchased himself a follow spot so that soloists could be properly highlighted. The school district later bought it from him. There are a couple of very familiar musical numbers: "The Best Things In Life Are Free," and "Varsity Drag." I handled properties for the show. I became an annoyance to Coach Rish, because we needed football uniforms, but they were out for cleaning. The whole experience was great fun. The other experience of special memory was the Rafael Mendez concert in April, 1954, just before we graduated. Mendez was a very fine trumpet player who developed a sort of concert and teaching program in many high schools. He had many arrangements of familiar pieces that he had done for trumpet. He came to spend a week with us preparing for the concert on the weekend. Mendez was an elegant and polished musician. He inspired us all to do our best for him. The memory is a highlight of my last year at our school. For the people who went to Carmichael Junior High, there is an obituary for Cynthia Huckstep. Miss Huckstep was also a wonderful music teacher, dearly loved by her students. Many of them went on to the music program at Col-Hi. I have copies from Mr. Pappas' memory book that I will make available for the Club 40 reunion September 11-12. Best wishes, -Karl Bucholz, aka Shyrl BUCHOLTZ ('54) *************************************************************** *************************************************************** >>From: Bob Carlson, aka Mike CLOWES ('54) The momentous occasion on this date was the birth of a Bomber Babe whom I went to school with. Our daughter, Debi and her family, had a scare on last Thursday evening. Had to prepare for the worst, but with all the green (orchards and alfalfa fields) around their home they were able to remain unscathed. However, they did evacuate to our home around midnight. We live by the hospital in Omak, and we figured they wouldn't let the hospital burn... felt pretty safe. The smoke surrounding our county is extremely dense and very toxic. We pray for those who are still in danger, and our thoughts go out to those who have experienced total and devastating loss of their property. I have never gone to anything in my young life that exceeded my expectations like the events of last weekend. I can only imagine what it took to get the word out to a class of our size and get the results you got. Nancy told me of a young lady who spent an entire year calling literally everyone - sorting through what had to be hundreds of similar names to get to the Bombers of '65. who was that? Not surprisingly, I immediately forgot. And everything you planned was perfect for allowing everyone to pursue what they hoped to experience. I know you have never stopped making sure our class stayed together and in touch as much as possible for all of these 50 years. We have all had long and varied lives, experiences and relationships since 1965. What we all shared in Richland I have come to know, was and is incredibly special. Not everyone, by a long shot, had the kind of environment and totality of really great kids and parents and even teachers during that time in our lives, as we did. What you guys did for all of us with this reunion in particular was exactly what was needed to make sure we never forget and never lose that sense of friendship and joy we all had in our own unique ways. So, thank you, Greg, and everyone on the committee. You are appreciated by us all, of that I am certain. -Rod BREWER ('65) ******************************************* ******************************************* That's it for today. Rod BREWER's entry yesterday summed up my feelings as well - I expected to have fun, and I had way more than I ever expected. Rod was just one of the many folks with whom I didn't have enough time, and that's my only regret about the whole weekend. My head was on a swivel, and I felt like I was speed-dating, trying to catch up with so many people who I hadn't seen in so many years. Had a great time with that dynamic duo, Cathy MOUTON and Diane MURPHY, and was able to reconnect with many of my old Christ the King classmates as well, including Sharon KEIGHER, Kathy DICKEMAN, Kathy McINTOSH and Rob TURPING. Seeing Ray GOODNER and Steve HOSACK was also special, but it's hard to single out just a few from the many great encounters of the weekend. Hadn't spent a night in that location (Red Lion) since Chuck TRUJILLO worked at the old Desert Inn and used to sneak us in to the pool side cabanas, but thats another long story... -Tony HARRAH ('65) *************************************************************** *************************************************************** Bomber Memorial >>Bill YALE ~ Class of 1948 ~ 1930 - 2015 ******************************************* ******************************************* That's it for today.
