Funeral services for Larry Edward Newton, a nuclear medicine technician, were at Vasu, Rodgers and Connell Funeral Home, Royal Oak, MI.

Burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, MI.

Mr. Newton, 41, of Royal Oak, died of cancer at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI.

He had worked for Radiology Associates in Madison Heights for 11 years. He was an Army veteran and a medic paratrooper in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; a son, Brian; a daughter, Debra; his mother, Phyllis; and two brothers: Rob ('73) and Jim ('78 or '79 HHS).
