Joanne Jordan Pearce, 38, of Richland, died May 23, 1988, at Kadlec Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1949, in Pasco and has lived here most of her life.

Joanne was a teacher in Roosevelt, WA, for eight years and became a substitute teacher for the Richland School District.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Rebecah Lodge and Past Grand Noble in Richland Kadlec Auxiliary, White Creek Grange and held the National Grange degree and Tri-City Chancellor Club.

Joanne graduated from Columbia High School, Columbia Basin College and Central Washington University.

Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Pearce, in 1984.

She is survived by parents, Olin and Helen Jordan; son, Andrew Olin Pearce; and sister Jeanne Jordan Davis ('65). Rosary was recited on May 25, 1988, at Einan's Funeral Home, and Mass of Christian Burial was held on May 26, 1988, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Barbara Linn, P. O Box 77, Richland 99352 and/or the Knights of Columbus in Richland.
