DONALD "BRUCE" LATTA ~ Class of 1968

Bruce, 26, died July 14, 1976, in a car accident. He was born in Richland on July 21, 1949, and lived here all his life.

Bruce was an English teacher and head wrestling coach at Carmichael Junior High School in Richland. He graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1968, and from Washington State University in 1972.

He was a member of the Central United Protestant Church and National Education Association and was a sergeant in the National Guard.

Survivors include parents, Donald W. and Rose Latta; sister, Cheryl Latta ('72) (Wayne) Teverbaugh; and grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Latta.

Services for Bruce Latta were Friday, July 16, 1976, at Einan's Funeral Home with the Rev. Donovan McVicker officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
