Jim O'Rourke, 29, a former Richland resident was killed in an automobile accident on May 24, 1980, in Minneapolis, MN. He was attending the Butler School of Law.

Jim was born in Richland on October 15, 1950, and grew up there. He attended Christ the King School, Chief Jo Junior High and graduated from Columbia High School in 1968 and from Central Washington University.

He was preceded in death by his father, James W. O'Rourke in 1969.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothea, and siblings Kathleen ('61), Garry ('66), and Michael ('64).

Recitation of the Rosary and Mass were held at Einan's Funeral Home and burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church Building Fund, 1126 Long Avenue, Richland.
