Stephen, 15, Richland, who died in a fire at Camp Wallowa in Oregon on September 12, 1965.

Stephen was a sophomore at Columbia High School, had been an honor student at Chief Joseph Junior High School for three years and had never missed a day of school. He was a member of the high school band.

Stephen was also a member of the Richland Lutheran Church, Luther League, and had received the Pro-Deo-El-Patria, a church award for scouting.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Willi; a sister, Susan ('71); and paternal grandmother, Mrs. C. H. Willi.

Services were held at Richland Lutheran Church. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery.

The parents ask that Stephen Willi memorials be sent to the Richland Lutheran Church.
