DEBRA DIANE ALLEN ~ Class of 1988
October 12, 1969 - June 24, 1992

Debra, 22, of Richland, died June 24, 1992, at Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Seattle. She was born October 12, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, and had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1973.

She graduated with high honors from Richland High School in 1988 where she was active in Future Business Leaders of America and executive class council. She was honored as Altrusa Girl of the Year. She graduated with high honors from Columbia Basin College and was an honor student at Brigham Young University and a member of Phi Delta Kappa.

She worked for Advanced Nuclear Fuels and Battelle.

Debra was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sunset Ward in Richland. She loved people, water skiing and music, especially the piano.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Charles Allen, and grandparents, Charles R. and Agnes S. Allen.

Debra is survived by her parents, Chuck and Diane Allen; siblings: Kevin ('87)(Suzanne) Allen, Rebecca Raye ('95), and Elizabeth ('00); and grandparents, Homer and Rae Jensen.

Funeral services were held on June 27, 1992, at the LDS Thayer Chapel. Interment followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
