This is to inform all alumni that Ronald Dean Snowden, class of 1955, died suddenly and unexpectedly on March 27,
2003 in Ritzville, WA, his home for over 43 years. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Arlene, and 3 sons:
Ron, Jr., Chris and Dan. He was a truly good man and will be missed by so many friends, many made during his
lengthy law enforcement career.

Ronald Snowden, Sr. (retired Trooper and 20-year Sheriff of Adams County), father of Detective Ron Snowden, Jr. (#410), passed away from natural causes at his residence in Ritzville, on March 27, 2003. Funeral arrangements are pending. Cards are welcome, no calls at this time.
The funeral for Ronald D. Snowden, Sr. (ex-Trooper and Adams County Sheriff), father of Detective Ronald D. Snowden, Jr. (#410), will be held at 2 p.m. on April 1, 2003, at the Lutheran Church on south Division street in Ritzville. A reception will follow at the American Legion Hall in Ritzville on north Division. All law enforcement are to meet at the Sterling Savings Bank near the church at 1:30. Law enforcement, as a group, will move to the church. Uniform of the day will be the formal uniform (Regulation 16.00.030).
