NANCY LOU CLOUD GALLOWAY ~ Class of 1955
June 8, 1937 - July 5, 2004




Nancy Lou Cloud Galloway, 67, passed away at her home in Kennewick, on July 5th, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Nancy was born on June 8, 1937 in Riverton, Wyoming to Charles Russell Cloud and Florence Louella Spencer Cloud and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1950.

As a young woman Nancy was an accomplished violinist and maintained that love of music throughout her life. Her greatest gift to all was her sweet and loving nature and wonderful sense of humor. Regardless of what life threw her way, Nancy never complained. She always had a smile and a kind word and was grateful for every day. All who knew her admired her strength and marveled at her ability to rise above adversity and illness. Nancy was a true “people person” and had countless friends. This was evident in the never-ending line of well wishers that stopped by to visit Nancy in her final days. People just naturally gravitated to her and loved her. Nancy will be missed by many.

Nancy’s greatest joy was her family and friends and especially her children. She was devoted to her daughter Julie, sons Brad and David, and grandson Dustin.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Russell Cloud and her soul mate, Gordon Carlson.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Florence Cloud Patterson, of Kennewick, her brother Charles Thaddeus Cloud and wife Ruth Sandra, of Gillette WY; daughter Julie Robinson of Poulsbo, WA; son Robert “Brad” Watts and his wife Christy of Kennewick, WA, son David Galloway of New York, NY; grandchildren Dustin Watts, Jillian Erickson and Deonna Erickson, and great grandson Logan Butler, all of Kennewick, WA; nieces Sandra Nicole Cloud, Jennifer Lorraine Cloud of Gillette, WY and nephew Charles Bryan Cloud of Orlando, FL and her cat Sammy. Nancy will also be missed by her ‘just like sisters” Janie Avalos and Sandy DeMotts.

A memorial service will be held at Einan’s Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2004, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made in Nancy’s memory to Hospice in Kennewick.
