Ray passed away suddenly at home, in Cypress, CA, on July 18, 2006. Ray was born March 15, 1943
in Parsons, KS. His parents moved to Richland, WA when he was 3 months old. He grew up in
Richland and graduated from Columbia High School in 1961. He then joined the Air Force and
settled in California after his discharge. He has been a long time resident of Cypress, (Orange
County), CA.

He leaves a loving wife of 39 years, Peggy, and two children, Kelli (Greg) Hill of Foothill
Ranch, CA., and Kent of West Hollywood, CA., four grandsons, Chase, Cole, Jake, and Joshua
Hill; two sisters, Geneva Hudson of Richland, WA., and Velma Cutler of Peoria, AZ. He has
several nieces and nephews. He grew up with two of the nephews, (like brothers), in Richland,
WA., Terry Matheny of Granbury, TX., and Jack Matheny of Stillwater, PA.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents.

Ray will be truly missed and always loved so much. He has touched the lives of many people and
we are so grateful to have had such wonderful times with him.
