Jack L. Moorman of Waco passed away peacefully Friday, November 16, 2007, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jack was born August 18, 1935, in Idabel, OK, to Jack and Audrey Moorman. He met Kathy Weaver in Mangum, OK, in 1957 and they married November 21, 1960, in Harrisburg, OR.
Jack proudly served his country in the Army from 1957 until 1960. He lived with his family in Lakewood, CA, for 23 years before moving to Waco in 1986 as the Director of Facilities for Elsinore Aircraft Service.
He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, restoring antique cars, and had a real passion for drag racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Moorman.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Moorman; two sons, the Rev. John Moorman and Rick Moorman; one granddaughter, Cheyanne and her mother, Jo Etta; his mother, Audrey Moorman; and one brother, Jerry D. Moorman ('59).
Services will be 10am Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Victorious Life Church, with the Rev. Charles Reese officiating. The family will receive guests at a visitation from 6 to 8pm Monday at Waco Memorial Funeral Home.
