Don Fowler, Sr. died September 2, 2007, at Kadlec Medical Center.
Don was the second son of Dorma LaDean Kelly and Charles LuVern Fowler. He was born July 10, 1949, in Richland.
He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as a Surgical Technician at the 27th Surgical Hospital in Chu Lai, Republic of South Vietnam from June, 1969, to February, 1970.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a lifetime member of the VFW and DAV.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Uncle John Fowler and aunts, Donna Williams and Melba Alford.
Don is survived by his wife, Nicki Fowler; daughters, Cindy Fowler and Mary Fowler (Don) Dooley; son Russ (Thora) Fowler; grandchildren: Destiny, Devin, and Zura; brothers: Skip, Dave (Cheryl), and Rick; aunts, Shirley Mittlieder and Marjorie Bell; uncle, Earl (Joanna) Fowler; cousins, nieces, nephews, "adopted kids" and lots of close friends.
Funeral services were September 8, 2007, at the L.D.S. Stake Center in Richland. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
