GENE GLEN GUSTAFSON ~ Class of 1968

Gene died October 13, 2007, at the age of 57 years from a coronary blockage while hunting with friends.

He was born January 16, 1950, in Spokane, WA. He was raised in Richland, WA, graduated from Columbia High School in Richland, WA in 1968, and also Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, WA. He worked as a wireman journeyman for Pacific Power.

His survivors include his daughter, Karla, her husband, Marion Marvich and their sons, Calvin & Caeleb Marvich of Estacada, OR; a son, Dane & his wife, Amber Gustafson, of Richland, WA; his mother, Dorothy Gustafson; 2 sisters, Judy Gustafson ('66) and Kristi Gustafson ('73).

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2007, at Richland Lutheran Church, 901 Van Giesen, Richland, WA. Memorial remembrances may be made to Sons of Norway-Youth; Bla Fjell (WallaWalla) or Ducks Unlimited through the Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St., WallaWalla, WA 99362. Private interment will be held.
