BONNIE GOFF CARLSON ~ Class of 1946

Bonnie Goff Carlson, age 80, passed away on December 30th at Legacy Cove in Kennewick, WA.
Bonnie was born October 6, 1928, in Topeka, KS, to Clarence and Evea Goff.
She was raised in Kansas and Oklahoma until 1943, when the family moved to Richland.
Bonnie graduated in 1946 from Columbia High School. Following graduation Bonnie moved to Santa Cruz, CA, where she attended and graduated from business school. Bonnie moved back to the Tri-Cities where she married Ernest 'Ernie' Carlson. They had three daughters born during their 20 year marriage. They lived in numerous states.
Bonnie moved back to Richland in 1970, where she worked in the food industry.
After a brief time she began her 20-plus years at Westinghouse as a secretary before retiring.
Bonnie was a loving, devoted mother and a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Bonnie had a great sense of humor. She was community oriented and was honored to volunteer for 10 years at Hospice. She was a regular donor to the Red Cross and always compassionate to others needs.
Bonnie is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Carlson of Willamina, OR, Darcee Stickler (Jim), Richland, and Denyce Carlson, West Richland. She's also survived by her brother, Neil Goff ('50) (Rose) of Reno, NV; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
