Sandra Elizabeth Sanders, 61, of Richland passed away December 5, 2008 at home. She was born March 24, 1947 in Walla Walla, WA and lived in the Tri-Cities for 50 years, graduating from Columbia High School in 1964. Sandra worked at Hanford for Battelle in the 1970s and continued on with a number of different contractors, for Lockheed Martin being the last.

She was a member of Cathedral of Joy church and Washington Operation Thank You (A.C.E.)

Preceding Sandra in death are her grandparents, William Clyde and Arnetta Cecil, and John and Thada Dean.

Survivors include her father, Richard Cecil, Sr.; mother, Anna Mae Simmons; sister, Sharon Cecil Armstrong ('62); brother, Richard Cecil, Jr. ('68); daughter, Heather Torrescano; grandchildren Brittneylynn, Michael and Anthony; numerous nephews and nieces, and many special friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2008 at Cathedral of Joy, Richland. Visitation will be Wednesday the 10th from 12:00-7:00 PM at Einan's Funeral Home, Richland.
