Daniel Eugene Mansfield was born October 24, 1942. He graduated from Columbia High School in Richland, WA, in 1961. Dan was with the class was 1960, but he actually graduated in 1961. He lost a year due to several hospitalizations during his high school years.

Dan had been struggling for some time with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). He passed away in Colfax, WA, December 19, 2009. Dan is interned at Desert Memorial Gardens in Kennewick.
