Ernie passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at his home in Vancouver. WA. Born on August 9, 1945, he was 63 years old.

A Vancouver resident since 1980, Ernest was formerly from the Tri-Cities area. He graduated from Columbia High School in 1964. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era, and was remembered for his avid enthusiasm for airplanes, cars, trucks, and race cars. He was also a very athletic man who enjoyed snow and water skiing before he was paralyzed in a swimming accident in 1983.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kent Webb.

Ernest is survived by his daughter Lori (Dan) Wyatt, son Christopher (Heather) Bensch, siblings Susan ('65) Hackney, John ('75) and Douglas (68), former wife Jane Dowling, and grandchildren Lincoln, Tucker, and CJ.
