Jerry Dean Pollard was born on December 12th, 1946, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Joyce Virginia Link and Harry Clay Pollard. Jerry was raised in Richland and spent the last 27 years in Edmond, OK. Jerry was a master at many things, but building log homes was his passion. Jerry has a true love for his family and will be deeply missed by all.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Ronnie ('68wb). Jerry is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Charlene Hines Pollard; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy & Greg Mills; daughter and son-in-law Tammy & Troy Hitzeman; daughter and son-in-law Tarah & Brent Bates; grandchildren, Wendi, Tory and Trenton Mills, Christina Mills-Saunders, Gage and Savannah Hitzeman and Landon and Stratton Bates; great-grandchildren, Hagen Lawrence and Ava Saunders; one sister, Cheryl Pollard Simons ('66); numerous nieces and nephews and the mother of his children and lifelong friend, Sheri Stratton-Norman.
