Dick died April 1, 2010 at his home in Poulsbo, WA. After four years in the U.S. Navy (Submarines), he returned to the Tri-Cities and spent two years at CBC and one semester at WSU. He worked at Boeing for 33 years before retiring.

He is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth Mayberry of Middletown, CT and Ruzane Stover of Urvana, IL, his brother, Ron ('53) of Bothell, WA.
