JAMES J. "JIM" PAHL ~ Class of 1965
June 17, 1947 – May 25, 2010

Jim passed away May 25th, 2010, at home with family by his side after a battle with brain cancer. He was born to Jack and Ruth Pahl on June l7th, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The family moved to West Richland in 1948.
Jim grew up in West Richland, WA, graduated from Columbia High School in 1965 and attended Columbia Basin College. He was married to Sharon Byrne in St. Patrick’s Church, Pasco, WA, on March 23, 1968. He was a proud veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the Air Force Reserves.
He was a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, active member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed books and music of all kinds and was a collector of many hobbies.
Jim is survived by his parents, Jack and Ruth Pahl of Richland; his wife, Sharon; and daughters, Christina (Frank) Moreno, Tami (Steve) Grammer and Erin (Bill) Lantz. He also leaves behind his sister, Janet (Bill) Dickinson; 7 grandchildren; 1 great –granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Jim was a man of Honor, Faith, Family, Hero to many and loved by all.
If memorials are desired, the family suggests donations be made to his favorite charities, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and to the Special Olympics.
