MARY ELLEN BEIERS GLENDINNING ~ Class of 1956
May 31, 1938 - October 25, 2011

Mary (a resident of Palo Alto, CA) passed away peacefully on October 25, 2011.

She was born on May 31, 1938 in Fargo, ND to parents Abe W. and Orinda Riste Beiers. She was a loving wife to Finis Glendinning for 55 years. Mary worked at C.A.R. and Grace Lutheran Church and volunteered for many organizations, including the South Bay Food closet, The Terrace, and most recently RAFT.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers David ('54) and Tom ('59).

Mary is survived by her husband Finis ('54), her sons Finis III and Jonathan, her daughters Shawn (David) and Terri (Frank), her brother Keith ('63), grandchildren Natasha, Finis IV, Connor and Kira, and nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her niece Tracy.

Services were held at Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto November 5th. Remembrances can be made to the American Cancer Society .
