ROMA LEE HARROLD JENSEN ~ Class of 1957

Roma, 71, of Richland, passed away on August 3, 2011, at her home. She was born on October 12, 1939, in Beaver City, NE, to Lloyd and Dorothy Harrold. Her family moved to Richland when she was young child when her father was hired to work at Hanford.

Roma attended school in Richland and graduated from Columbia High School in 1957. Roma started her career with Battelle out of high school and retired from Hanford in 1987. She was also an owner of the Dayton Motel.

She met and married the love of her life Roger Jensen on February 24, 1978. Although we all will miss her dearly, we are very happy they are reunited once again.

Roma was a great wife, mother and friend. She was generous to a fault and she loved to sew and crochet.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Mohondro (Blake), Kerry Mohondro, Michael Mohondro (Sheila), Stacy Mohondro ('83) (Cecil), Patrick Mohondro (Angela); stepchildren, Kim Pueschner (Mike), Janine Jensen (Alex), and Russ Jensen (Julie). She is also survived by her brother, Larry Harrold ('56) (Lois) and many special nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristy; father, Lloyd Harrold; mother, Dorothy and granddaughter Jacqueline.

At mom's request, there will be no services.

A family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Roma's life.
