George David Aasal, 63, passed away February 8, 2011, in Seattle. He was born May 7, 1947 in Richland, but has been a long time resident of West Seattle.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Evey, of 35 years, his son, Mark Aasal, Bellingham, and his sister, Barbara Aasal Forbes ('57), Drummond, MT.

He worked for the Boeing Company for over 35 years and is remembered as a family man who liked his job and loved his music.

There is a small private service for family and friends where his ashes will be scattered. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the theater, art, music venue, scholarship or charity of your choice.
