SALLY BUTLER MEADOR ~ Class of 1976
July 4, 1958 - August 1, 2011

Sally BUTLER Meador, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with her Savior on August 1, 2011. She will be forever missed for her selfless love towards everyone in her life and her beautiful, kind spirit.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Butler and mother-in-law, Marie Meador.

She is survived by her husband, R.D. (Dave) Meador, her parents Don and Pat Butler, brothers Stan and Gary Butler, Dewayne Grubaugh and Tom Gear, sisters Barbara and Kerry Butler, Karen Gear and Donna Grubaugh. Daughters Jennifer LaBeaf, Annie Watters, Lindsey Kessie and Sunna Han. Sons Jeffrey Tillman, Daniel Tillman, Casey LaBeaf, Adam Watters and Matt Kessie. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends and coworkers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, each of whom she loved and treasured dearly: Dawson LaBeaf, Taytum LaBeaf, AnnMarie Tillman, Emma Tillman, Ally Tillman, Gavin Watters, Lyza Watters, Lola Watters, Gwenyth Watters, Addison Kessie, Ainsley Kessie and Christina Robinson.

Sally was born on July 4, 1958, in Seattle. She was in foster care until the age of 6, when she eagerly entered the hearts and home of her loving adoptive parents, Don and Norma Butler. Sally grew up in Richland and graduated from Columbia High School in 1976. She proceeded to further her education at Western Washington University, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts.

Sally worked at CBC for seven years, helping students achieve their goals and dreams through the Work First/Worker Retraining program. Sally's foundation in Christ was an inspiration to everyone around her. She loved Church and was a devoted member of Calvary Chapel. Sally's love for her family will be imprinted in our hearts forever.

Her hobbies included singing, playing guitar, writing, cooking and spending time with her 12 grandchildren. Sally will always be remembered for her enlightening soul and overflowing love for others. She always put everyone else's needs before her own and always believed each person had the potential to be successful in life and encouraged everyone to live and follow their dreams. Family and God were the main focus of her life, and her devotion to both never wavered.

A celebration of her life was held at Calvary Chapel in Kennewick. A Memorial Donation account has been setup at HAPO Community Credit Union under Sally Meador.
