DOMINIC R. TAFOYA ~ Class of 1988
March 11, 1970 - February 28, 2011

Dominic passed away February 28, 2011, at home in West Richland from complications of diabetes and kidney disease. Dominic was born March 11, 1970, in Sacramento, CA. He attended Christ the King School and he graduated from Richland High School in 1988.

Dominic was an avid sports enthusiast. He learned to play golf at an early age from his Grandpa Miller with a special-made putter just his size. He played Richland Little League Baseball, Grid Kids Football and Richland High Football. He also loved playing softball with his friends in men's and co-ed leagues.

He married Allison Demeyer in 1997 and together they had a son, Dylan.

After a stint in the Army, he worked for Delta Airlines and FedEx Delivery, but his first love was music, which led him to a career hosting Karaoke as T-Bone Entertainment. He was an entertainer at heart and didn't know a stranger. He could bring a smile to anyone's face with a story and a song.

He is survived by his son, Dylan; mother Beverly; sister Christina of Texas; father Phillip of Wyoming; grandmothers, Louise Miller and Oralia Tafoya, both of California; as well as special sister, RaeLene Bishop of Nevada. He is also survived by half-sister Oralia and half-brother Felipe and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Miller and Joseph Tafoya.

In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for his son Dylan at Key Bank. Donations can be made at Lee Blvd. or W. Kennewick Avenue branches only. Per Dominic's request, there will be no services.
