LOIS PATRICIA "LOIS"/"PAT" McCRAREY TRENT ~ Class of 1950

Lois Patricia "Lois"/"Pat" McCrarey Trent, 80, passed away on August 14, 2012, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center after undergoing surgery. Pat was surrounded by her family. Pat is survived by her loving husband of over 62 years, Frank Trent.

Born in Memphis, TN, on December 21, 1932, to Cecil I. "Mac" and Bessie Ruth Vickery McCrarey, she moved to Richland in 1944 and graduated from Columbia High School in 1950. After graduating from high school, Pat worked in various positions for various contractors on the Hanford project until her retirement in 1994. As a young girl she enjoyed travel, ballroom and square dancing, roller skating, movies, animals, and in later years, looked forward to family gatherings.

Pat was the loving mother of Noah "Val" Trent ('70) and his wife Alice; Frank Trent ('72) and his wife Donna; Dave Trent ('75) and his wife CK; and much-loved pet, "Guy."

She was also the proud grandmother of Brian, Jennifer, Rob, Ken, Allison, Jamin, Nick, Richie, Tabitha, Cara, Samantha and Rob, as well as the great-grandmother of 26.

A celebration of the life of Pat will be held in the gym of the LDS Church located at 4618 Porto Lane, Pasco, WA, on the 18th of August from 2pm - 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society in her memory are wished.
