Bill Johnson, 70, passed away on December 12, 2013, in Houston, TX. He was born on February 21, 1943, in St. Paul, MN to Robley L. and Reubie K. Johnson.

Bill grew up in Richland graduating from Columbia High School in 1961. After traveling he settled down in the Nuclear Power construction field as an Electrical QA Supervisor in Illinois and Texas for 20+ years.

Bill loved to travel, seeing much of the USA as well as Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Columbia. He was a long time member of the Richland Elks, and served as Exalted Ruler in 1982.

His life-long passion was music and he sang whenever he could. He recorded two albums in Nashville, and was a regular on the Texas "Opry" circuit. The highlights of his singing career were the several concerts he performed in New Zealand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robley L. & Reubie K. Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie, granddaughters Nikkole and Taylor, great-granddaughters Alyssa, Hayden and Zoey, and his siblings Richard ('55), Eugene ('57), and Catherine Johnson Pearsall ('70).
