CAROL ANN CROSS LLEWELLYN ~ Class of 1964

Carol, a longtime resident of Copalis Crossing, WA, died at Harborview Hospital on September 9, 2013.
Carol was born January 15, 1946 in Portland, OR. Soon after her birth, the family moved to Richland to join their father who was working for the Hanford Project and had acquired housing for the family.
In 1964, she graduated from Columbia High School where was an athlete and played on the tennis team under Coach Rex Davis ('49). Carol graduated from Central Washington State University. Carol married Don Llewellyn ('60) but was later divorced.
Carol moved to Copalis Crossing and lived there for over 30 years with her life partner Gordon "Dennis" Main.
She was a partner in the 7th Street Consignment Shop in Hoquiam, WA, for many years until retiring December 31, 2012.
Carol enjoyed playing shuffleboard, yearly trips to Reno with friends and fantasy football.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cross; her mother, Phyllis Maughan Cross; a sister, Maryjane Cross Marratt ('68) and her life partner Gordon "Dennis" Main.
Carol is survived by her brothers, Allan Cross ('59), Robert Cross ('62) and Duane Cross ('79), and close cousins, Helen Cross Kirk ('62), Roy Cross ('65), life long friend, Vernona "Cathryn" Chappelle Hodgin ('64) and Dennis' sister, Joyce Main Musolino.
