JEAN ANN HELGESON ~ Class of 1971
August 17, 1953 - May 7, 2013



Jean passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2013, surrounded by family and friends after a long four-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born August 17, 1953 in Richland to William and Geneva Helgeson.

She is survived by her parents, William (Reba) Helgeson and Geneva Chafin; brother, Jack Helgeson; stepbrother, Rory Stewart; stepsister, Debbie Clossey; children: Stephanie Strasser, Mellisa (Brett) Sower and James (Charlie) Nutt; 5 grandchildren: Sidney, Griffin, Evelyn, Olivia and Madison.

Funeral services were held at the Cathedral of the Rockies in Boise on May 11, 2013. Graveside services followed at Pioneer Cemetery.
