Kurt, 50, of Lebanon, TN, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, at his home. Kurt was born August 14, 1963, in Pekin, IL, to Arlen Ray and Catherine Peiter Schade.

He was a logistics manager for Interstate Distributor Trucking Company in Mount Juliet, TN.

Kurt was a 1981 graduate of Columbia High School. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert & Lillian Peiter and William & Pauline Schade; uncle, Glenn Schade; and aunt, Alma Jane Schaefer.

Survivors include: parents, Arlen and Catherine Schade; brother, Kent William Schade, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were be held October 19, 2013, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Palmyra, MO. Rev. David Johnson officiated. Burial at the Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, MO. Visitation was at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville, TN.

Casket Bearers: Dwane Schaefer, Michael Schaefer, Anthony Schaefer, Brandon Schaefer, Jonathan Schaefer, Justin Schaefer, Matthew Peiter, and Craig King.
