EVELYN GERTHA GROVE BIGELOW ~ Class of 1934
April 21, 1916 - April 26, 2014



Evelyn, 98, was born April 21, 1916, in Cabool, MO to Clinton and Exie Simmons Grove. The family moved to Richland where she lived most of her life and graduated from Richland High School in 1934.

She and Perry Bigelow were married for over 50 years before he passed away. She enjoyed her role as a homemaker and was a friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Perry, and a brother and a sister.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Deisher and Robert Bigelow; seven grandchildren: including David (Arienne) Arnold, Randa Rai, and Shawn Bigelow; great-grandchildren: Sam, Grace, Dyson, and Jesse; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held from 1pm to 3pm, May 24, 2014, at the Golden West Estates in Walla Walla. Elder Jesse Wilkinson will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice through Mountain View-Colonial DeWitt, 1551 The Dalles Military Road, Walla Walla, WA 99362.
