Jack passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at Trios Health, due to complications from surgery.

Jack was born in Seattle to John E. and Eleanor Lester on July 27, 1934. He moved to the Tri-Cities when he was a freshman in high school and graduated from Columbia High School in 1952.

He worked at General Electric’s Hanford Laboratory in research and development for 12 years and worked for Pacific Northwest National Laboratories for 30 years as a Senior Technician in the Materials Sciences Department, retiring in 1995.

Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years, Grace; his three daughters Linda Baugh (Ken), Nancy Suite (Larry), Diane Ferris (Dave); grandchildren Christopher, Jennifer, Matthew, Jenna, and Jeff; and great-grandson Jaden.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 9, 2014, at 10am, at Parish of the Holy Spirit, 7409 W. Clearwater Ave, Kennewick. Viewing was Thursday, May 8th at Mueller’s in Kennewick.
