Nelsina met with God July 12, 2014. She was born April 25, 1943, in Boulder, CO and came to Richland when she was 14 months old. She was a member of Central United Protestant Church and (as she said) she was raised in the church from a baby. She worked for various contractors in the area.

She is survived by her son, John Wilfert (Shawna); daughter, Anna Cadd; mother, Carol Roberts; siblings: Tammy Brevet and John Roberts; and three granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations may be made to the Mid-Columbia Reading Foundation in Nelsina's name, care of Kiwanis Club of Tri-Cities Industries, Bill Glenn, Treasurer, 1324 Cedar Avenue, Richland, WA 99354.

Memorial service for Nelsina was held July 22, 2014, at the Central United Protestant Church of Richland.
