Kathy, 56, of Richland passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 20, 2014. She was born on April 9, 1957, in Yakima, WA and lived the majority of her life in Richland except for 15 years spent in Seattle.

Kathy touched many lives and had a true passion for helping people. Oftentimes she could be found in her garden or in the kitchen with friends canning her famous hot pickles or brewing a fresh batch of salsa. Many family gatherings were organized by Kathy. She loved her work as an Education Specialist at Battelle and found great joy enriching the lives of the students she worked with. Kathy always put others before herself. Her family and friends meant the world to her and we can only hope to carry on the genuine compassion and heartfelt love that she showed to everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Lou Feaster.

She is survived by her husband Greg ('73), her daughter Katelyn (Miguel), her father Ron (Barb), brothers Scott ('73) (Jean ('77)) and Jim ('80) (Donna), along with nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and extended family.

Services are at 1 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Knights of Columbus in Richland.
