GEORGE EDWARD BROWNING ~ Class of 1951
April 23, 1933 - April 29, 2015



George was born April 23, 1933, to JD and Dorthea Browning in Spokane. He passed away April 29, 2015.

His family moved to Richland in 1944. He graduated from Columbia High in 1951, followed by the Navy. Later in life he went back to school and earned an AA degree at CBC, and a BA degree in Accounting from Western WA University. He retired from the State of Washington Employment Security Department.

He loved watching the Seahawks, Mariners and going to Dust Devil games. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

George is survived by his lovely wife of 62 years Stella Bellande Browning ('53), daughters Vickie Oord (Ray) and Linda Bates; grandsons Ryan and Nic (Pam); and great-granddaughter Katelin Oord.

Per his request there will be no services.
