Janny, 74, of Richland, passed away February 17, 2015, at Prestige Assisted Living in Richland. She was born June 10, 1940, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Tom and Roberta Mulroy and moved to Richland in 1944 with her family.

She was a 1958 graduate of Richland's Columbia High School and shortly moved to Seattle for work, where she met her husband, Roger. They married on July 30, 1960, at Christ The King Church in Richland with her long time friend from her school days, Susan Seaburger Thiss, as a bridesmaid.

Janny worked at Kadlec Hospital in various positions for 10 years before she went to work for Westinghouse Hanford in the Finance Department, where she then retired in 1996.

Janny was proceeded in death by her parents and older brother, Robert "Bob" Mulroy ('57wb).

She leaves behind her husband of nearly 55 years Roger; her children: Theresa and Thomas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who referred to her as Oma Jan; amd her siblings James Mulroy ('59) and Mary Mulroy Wilson ('66).

Hillcrest Memorial Center, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

A special thank you to the staff of Richland Rehab Facility, Prestige Assisted Living and The Chaplaincy Hospice for their kind care in her last days.

A private memorial will be held at a future date. Any donations can be made to Tri-City Cancer Center.
