Donna passed away June 18, 2016, at her home in Pasco. She was born in Alpena, Michigan, on March 31, 1936, to Rachael and George Brooks.

Donna grew up in Richland and returned to Flint, Michigan after high school where she met and married Kenneth Cook. They were blessed with two daughters. In 1987, Donna married Jack O'Rourke in Kona, Hawaii.

Donna will be remembered as a joyful, energetic, giving, and compassionate individual who enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She had a talent for making others smile and her dynamic disposition was sure to brighten up any room that she entered. In her spare time, she incorporated her creativity into her many passions which included cooking, decorating, arts and crafts, and strategizing over bridge. Wherever she went, Donna brought her zest for life and vibrant attitude with her.

Donna was preceded in death by husband Jack O'Rourke; mother Rachael McNeill; step-father Lynn McNeill, Sr.; father George Brooks; step-brothers Lynn McNeill, Jr. and Bob McNeill; and sister-in-law Marilyn McNeill.

She is survived by daughters Judy Morales (Mark Conrad) and Jennifer Roach (Randy); brother Patrick McNeill (Aurla); step-children Jackie Calkins (Tom) and John O'Rourke, grandchildren Sara Morales, Tyler Morales, Jessica Bernsen (Ryan), and Marcelino Morales; step grandchildren Mark Calkins (Britney) and Michael Calkins (Nikki); four great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service was held on June 24, 2016, at The Living Room Church in Kennewick with a luncheon that followed. Interment service in Walla Walla will be at a later date.
