Tuesday was a very disappointing day for me. I see four
more years of blood, environmental disaster, NRA glory,
discrimination against minorities, selection of ultra
conservative Supreme Court Judges, and an increase in
fundamentalist religious values. I view the election
results as a huge step backwards with the majority
yearning for the "good old days" when father knew best
verses moving forward to meet the challenges of a
changing world.

Change is difficult. Yesterday, America chose the status
quo which continues dinosaur policies that lead to death
and disaster.

The election results reminds me of the story of the
Valley Of The Blind. A young man stood on the mountain
top looking into the Valley Of The Blind. He hiked into
the valley to live with the blind people. After being
there awhile, he became uncomfortable being different so
he clawed his eyes out.
