In the past there was a lady entertainer who went by the name of "Tootie". Currently, here in Oregon, there is a lady running for a seat in the State Senate who also goes by the name "Tootie". I would surmise this to be the feminine spelling of that name. We have seen pictures of the Junior Gyrene in his Bomber "jammies" which may leave some doubt in some minds as to his orientation. But, other than those pictures, there is no concrete evidence to back that theory. Consequently, those who wish to call him by the new "nick-name" should spell that name with a final "y" (e.g. "Tooty"). This should separate him from the rest of the field. Further comment on this subject may or may not be necessary. Discuss. It is almost 11 minutes long and what I liked about it was about 2/3 of it were not of music, but of Paul Revere's antics between the songs. He talks about how albums are not the same as they used to be and shows a CD. Then says that a DVD is different than a CD and shows one and says, "See." I saw him do something similar long time ago (when you're my age and you say long time ago people know that is really is a "long time ago"). At that time there were no DVDs, and certainly no flat screen TVs. He talked about the long boxes they came in so the retailers could use the same shelving they already had for the LPs. He said something like, "I don't know why they put such a little record in such a big box, I guess they don't want you to think you're getting screwed!" He says that he went in to buy a TV. He asked for a GE. The kid says they don't have a GE, they have an LG, which is also a HD, but it is also a LED and it plays a DVD, and in 3D. Raul Revere really knew how to put on a show! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BPAjWOOEYw I have seen him once with an Edsel front for his keyboard, and twice with the front of a Mustang. I have never seen it, but I did find a still photo of using a Nash Metropolitan for the keyboard front. A Nash Metropolitan, now that keyboard must hold a special meaning for out Sandstorm Barrister. -Dennis HAMMER ('64) **************************************************************** **************************************************************** That's it for today.
