Re: My brother Ray LOESCHER ('57-RIP)

Yesterday's Sandstorm Memorial featured Ray LOESCHER... my precious
younger brother... my only sibling. His prostate cancer turned
aggressive and invaded his bones. Raised as a Christian, he was
prepared to die, and he never lost his sense of humor. Not only did
he pre-arrange and pay for every detail regarding the disposition
of his body (and his equally-Christian wife's, when her turn
comes), but he wrote a tongue-in-cheek funeral sermon for his
pastor to deliver at the Celebration of Life. It begins, "I never
thought I'd live to see this day – and I didn't!" I'll be in
Tumwater listening to his words on Tuesday, crying and smiling at
the same time.

Love is Eternal,

So glad to hear that "Tooter" (aka Junior Gyrene) has been restored
to the good graces of AOL. The world can now rest for a moment.

not to worry, it is not in use.

This past week spent 3 days in Lincoln City, OR. Belong to a local
senior organization in the Tri-Cites, called Rambling Rovers.
Earlier this month we spent a week in South Dakota... a great time
in both places. The Oregon coast might be the most picturesque in
the country. On the Oregon trip were 12 Bombers:.Betty BELL ('51),
Nancy BROWNING ('52), Marilyn DeVINE ('52), Larry BRUGGEMAN ('54),
Jim ANDERSON (57), Pat JONES ('59), Jack GARDINER ('61),
Janet TYLER ('61), Verna JONES ('62), Vicki JONES ('63),
Rosemary QUALHIEM ('63), and Diann Davis ('65).

Re: Bomber Secretary.

Not a secretary, just a reporter. It's kinda fun to roam around the
room and discuss stuff with other Bombers, and even eaves drop on a
few conversations and then make up whatever I want to tell, just
like the real reporters do it. I'm banking on most of my Bomber
friends forgetting what they said so I can get away with saying
what I want.

Hey, Rivers, I'll be in Las Vegas in three weeks for about a week,
so perhaps we can get together and make up some more stories to
share with our memory challenged Bomber family.
