Maren,
Can you send out a message for all fellow Bombers to keep Ray in
their prayers. He had a heart attack today (Friday 11/7/14) and
should be at Kadlec hospital tomorrow to undergo open heart
surgery. That?s all I know right now.

I find it pretty amazing that is seems only a few weeks ago most
of us were sitting in our seats at Col-Hi wondering what we'd be
when we grew up and now so many of us are in our late 60s, our 70s
and 80s... well of course you've heard me talk enough to know that
that's a big fat lie, at least for me... I never did give any of
that much thought... I saw as far as Friday night during my school
years and the future was maybe a month off... planning was never
one of my strong points and I still find it difficult to get very
far ahead in my thinking... kinda like this weekend... we were
spozed ta be at El Mirage this weekend but we all forgot... if
anything is very far in advance, I gotta rely on my yellow
stickies and even then I may forget to look at them until a day or
two after... I try to be good about birthdays, but that's about
it... I did learn a while back that the '65er 50 year is set for
August 22nd... I got an email with a list of missing kids about a
mile long... I know our class was pretty big but looking at that
list makes me wonder how all those kids get lost... some of them
were at the 40 year, I know because I sat with them... I missed
the 45 year because I had already made plans in advance of the
announcement of the date... I do not like missing reunions
especially my own... now if our reunions would be when they are
spozed ta be, during CDNs like our yearly get together I'd be
fine... but... that's another story... I really enjoyed the '63
50 rear and shore hope ours is a good one, too, which I expect it
to be... and speaking of the Gold Medal class there are two
members celebrating today... HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dick BOEHNING ('63)
and Kandy SMITH ('63) on your special day, November 9, 2014!!!!!!!

have never attended one of our monthly lunches ? or haven?t been
