>>From: Bob Carlson, aka Mike CLOWES ('54)

According to several sources, today is the birthday of a Bomber
Babe from The Class of '54. To the best of my inconsiderable
knowledge I do not think we "interfaced" (as they say today)
during our high school years. I was, however, aware of her, but
for whatever reasons our paths never really crossed. It's not
that much different today. Regardless of that, she is a fellow
alum and deserves some recognition. Accordingly, I will now tip
the ol' propeller beanie is her honor. Perhaps someone who knew
her then and now will lead the "Happy Birthday!" cheer for
Darlene PICKLES ('54).

spring must be around the corner as the daffodils have
bloomed and the lawn mower is in the shop (it will probably
      rain when the mower returns).

Re: Carol RICE Forister ('62)

To: Helen Cross Kirk ('62)

Thinking of you and Carol Rice has me thinking of many of the
women and men in the Class of '62, especially of the many of us
who lived on the western edge of Richland along the bypass and on
Chestnut, etc. Please let Carol know that she is remembered and
will be missed.

Re: Carol RICE Forister ('62)

I met Carol in kindergarten at Spalding. She was a treasure then
and has remained so. The last time we saw each other was a little
over ten years ago when we met for lunch in Kansas City. It was a
great opportunity to not only share old stories, but to speak of
things we were reticent to do in our youth. She's a wonderful
person and it breaks my heart to hear of her current struggle.

Re: Carol RICE Forister ('62)

Echo David DOUGLAS' ('62) comments about Carol and Helen CROSS
Kirk being just two of the many really nice people in our class.
Went to school with both for 13 years and they are two of the
classiest girls '62 has.

-Tim SMYTH ('62) ~ Moreau, NY - BRRRRRR

awaiting the invasion of my six siblings next week
